Kemp Construction has been accepted as the main Contractor for Albany Junior High School Relocatables Project. This project involves the relocation of 14 temporary classrooms from various schools across wider Auckland onto the Albany Junior High School site in Albany. It also includes landscaping of the donor sites and electrical, plumbing, paving and restoration of the various classrooms. The co-ordination required in this project is significant and the timeline for the project is a tight one due to the requirement to have the classrooms up and running by the time school starts up again in 2008. But Kemp Construction is on track and entirely confident of project delivery as requested. Whilst our Construction Managers have completed School projects in the past in previous roles, this remains a first for Kemp Construction and we hope to use success in this project as a springboard for future School Construction Projects.
